About Lazulibre

Hey, my name’s Christian!

It was in 2008 that the magic of paragliding swept me away from my very first ground handling sessions on the training slope. And it has never left me since. Today I split my free time between my favorite discipline of cross-country flights and sharing this passion through teaching paragliding and tandem flights.

But actually why Lazulibre? Words combination between Lapis Lazuli (a metamorphic intense blue stone adorned with golden glitter evokes the sky vault) and the french work Libre (freedom). In its symbolism it is a stone that stabilizes the mind, elevates the soul and encourages transformation. Thus, combined with the notion of freedom, it does not take more to establish the fundamental notions of the school.

Indeed, what other activity than paragliding requires calm and clarity in our decisions? Transports us and makes us change dimension? And this after only a few steps in a sloping meadow?
