Good to Know
A tandem paragliding flight is a unique and emotion-filled experience. Takeoff and landing are done walking. During the flight, you will be comfortably seated in a harness while the pilot controls the paraglider. It’s a fantastic way to discover the sensations of flying in complete safety!
As soon as there is a mountain, there is a good chance to find a takeoff nearby. We are based in Lausanne and our favorite flying site is in Villars-sur-Ollon which is 30min drive from Lausanne. But we move around with pleasure. Here are some ideas of possible takeoff place: Salève, Mauborget (Yverdon), Charmey, Les Pléiades, Dente de Jaman, Villeneuve, Verbier, …
No, no previous experience is necessary for a tandem paragliding flight! It is precisely the ideal opportunity to discover the sensations of free flight in complete safety. Our pilots, all certified by the Swiss Free Flight Federation (FSVL), are highly qualified and experienced. They take care of all aspects of the flight, from takeoff to landing.

Every activity involves risks, and paragliding is no exception. We strive to reduce these risks by relying on highly trained pilots with extensive flying experience. We use high-quality equipment that is carefully maintained. Before each flight, we carry out a thorough assessment of the weather conditions and only decide to take off when the conditions are suitable for flying.
Since paragliding is subject to the vagaries of the weather, it sometimes happens that we have to adapt the schedules at the last minute. For more peace of mind, we recommend that you plan at least 2 hours. For any specific time constraints, please contact us in advance.
Good shoes with profiled soles, clothes adapted to the outside temperature: warm jacket and gloves in winter, a windbreaker in summer.
It is possible to take photos during the flight using your own device, but only if flight conditions allow it. There is a significant risk of dropping objects, so make sure your device can be securely attached with a leash.
If you would like a lasting memory of your flight, we recommend choosing the photo and video option. Our pilots are equipped with GoPro cameras mounted on a pole, allowing them to capture stunning high-definition images that you can share with your family and friends.
The day before the chosen date, call us to confirm the weather conditions, the meeting time and place.
The meeting place wil be given close to the fliying site (no shuttle from Lausanne).
On the day of the flight, we meet at the agreed meeting point and go together up to the takeoff place.
There we unfold the wing and prepare the equipment. The pilot will equip you with a harness and a helmet and give you some explaination on how the takeoff and flight take place.
After the flight, we take you back to your car or to the train station.
Adaptations from this basic plan are of course possible.
